D&G EquipmentD&G Equipment, Inc. first opened its doors in October of 1993. The company started with two John Deere dealership locations, one in Mason and one in Williamston. Throughout the past 20 years, D&G has been expanding and moving dealerships to meet the demands and requests of its customers. D&G Equipment added a total of five John Deere dealerships between 2000 and 2004 and many of D&G Equipment's locations have expanded to accommodate for our growing customer base and demand. We have grown into Mid-Michigan's largest John Deere dealership with the addition of locations in Howell, Rives Junction, Corunna, Charlotte and Highland.

Since 2006, D&G Equipment has been selling used parts online and in-store. Not only has this been a great way for us to expand the services we can offer to our customers, but it also provides you an eco-friendly way to dispose of your old equipment.

We need your old equipment. The best part? All you have to do is bring your equipment to our Grand River location, and we will take it from there – at no charge. At this location, our talented technicians disassemble the equipment and clean the viable parts. The parts are then weighed, measured, labeled, and washed in preparation to be photographed. Once photographed, they are placed in our warehouse and posted online.

We've got you covered if you're ever looking for used parts. To learn more about our equipment recycling program, call us at 517-655-1803.

The owner and president, Elden Gustafson, was awarded the Master Entrepreneur Award at the Greater Lansing Business Monthly's 13th annual Entrepreneurial Awards of Greater Lansing in 2007 for his accomplishments. This honor is bestowed upon one recipient per year and is highly commendable. Mr. Gustafson also won the 2007 Retailing Entrepreneur award for D&G Equipment.

Many of his accomplishments were mentioned at the awards ceremony. In 1971, Mr. Gustafson and two partners started Uptilt, a manufacturing plant making automotive parts and employed 250. Uptilt lead to the development of several more businesses between 1971 and 1993 including; Diversified Finishes, a plant that coated automotive parts; Atmosphere Annealing, a heat treating and phosphate coating company; Trumark, a stamping plant in Lansing making automotive parts; and Cobbler's Bench shoe store in Frandor which was operated for 25 years until it was sold.It was Mr. Gustafson's latest venture, D&G Equipment, Inc. that would earn him the Entrepreneurial Award in Retailing in 2007.

Tom Cullimore and his H.O.P.E program, Helping Other People Eat, have reached yet another milestone in his fight against hunger.

D&G Equipment had a blast when the Back to the Bricks Promotional Tour was at our Williamston location on June 12th. Over 150 antique cars and hot rods stopped at the D&G main campus in Williamston, before continuing to Battle Creek. Click Read More to watch the video.

The results are in from the Michigan Pedal Pullers competition held at the Drive Green Event September 13 at D&G Equipment.

Although class has only been in session since September, the Webberville FFA has already packed a full year of excitement into the past few months!

Members of the FFA (Future Farmers of America) from Homer, MI visited the Williamston Corporate office on November 7 to tour the facilities.  They were educated on how the operation works and the great efforts it takes in the parts, sales and service departments to run an efficient business.  John Deere recently posted a video on new features they are looking to launch in the future and the students were shown where technology in agriculture is headed. Lora Finch, the Agriscience Instructor and FFA Advisor thought the visit was beneficial for the students in saying, "I cannot thank you (D&G) enough for the wonderful tour of you facility, the video, visiting with the kids and the hats! The students were very interested in the whole operation and impressed with how professional it was ran. It was a true learning experience that opened their eyes to another part of the ag industry."

The 2nd annual Drive Green Event was held at the corporate headquarters in Williamston Saturday September 14, 2013.  The annual event features the Webberville Garden Tractor Pullers, Michigan Pedal Pullers, mini farmer's market, and a display from the All-Color Antique Tractor Club.

Military Appreciation was the theme Friday, October 4, 2013 at D&G Equipment Sales in Corunna.  Veterans and current members of any brand of the US forces were offered special discounts and pricing on products sold at D&G Equipment in Corunna.  Bob Florinki, a D&G customer and resident of rural Durand, provided a display of his 1941 World War II Willys Jeep restored to original condition, including accessories and armaments of the period.  In addition, Florinki brought in his M Gator A-1, with a Browning M-2 .50-caliber, top-mounted machine gun.  Florinki noted that today's special forces sometimes drop the M Gator A-1 into remote areas of service such as Afghanistan.  The Gator is nearly the same size as the Willys.

D&G Celebrated its 20th Anniversary with a company party Saturday October 26, 2013 held at the Ingham County Fair Office in Mason, MI.  It was a grand event to celebrate D&G as a company, through ups and downs in the economy to expansions and closures of locations.  Started in 1993, D&G originally had just 2 locations and over 20 years now includes 8 locations and an online store.
